How we get the material?
A lot of the material presented here as you might have noticed is in fact gleaned from the net, some book, or magazine in some form or another. Much of the photo material in fact has ebay as its source! In most cases we attempt to contact by email the owner of website the source material came from and ask permission to reprint. However many times the email link bounces, it gets binned by some spam handler or no reply is received back. If there is no specific copyright and we believe the material is public domain and not proprietary we use the information anyway and credit the source by way or links and names.
In some instances an image robot gathers material and its then difficult to credit the author. Nor is it always possible to verify whether the previous owner of the material is in fact the original author. In some form or another most of the material here is a duplication of resource that has been produced and reproduced  over the past sixty or seventy years. In other instances users email me material that I assume is their work but in fact may have been gathered elsewhere.
Objections: If however I have material on this site which you have sole ownership and object to me using it here, please contact me to remove it or put up appropriate acknowledgements etc. Its certainly not my intention to profit from someone else's work and I make no claims that all material here is my own original work, though of course a lot of it is.

Copyright Material
Note there is no copyright or reserved rights as such to this site except for site design and layout. All my own original works and photos I present freely to the public domain - All other work remains the property of the original holder.

Commercial or Not?, Why donations?
No despite professional appearances this site is NOT commercial, nor am I doing this for monetary gains but this huge site takes a great deal of time and money. Your donations help offset this but only to a  small degree.  And what price do you put on your own time?, this effort is for the love of the hobby not for the love of money.
Note: The donations to this site are to offset it's continued development and hosting costs, you are NOT paying for the material itself.
