What?: Vintage Hi-Fi and Audio Amplifier Repairs including mosfet, all valve designs and hybrids. Servicing of gramophones, turntables & reel to reels. Alignment or repair on shortwave receivers to ham transmitters - it doesn't matter. From homebrew to top-of-the-line commercial gear including test equipment. If its pre 1970 I'll consider it. Full In-house fabrication of alloy chassis's, front panels, covers, brackets etc, anything from making new pointer dials, tapping new grub screw threads in knobs, machining dial pulleys and gears or any one off small part to get that behemoth in top working condition again.

All repairs in fully equipped workshop for all in-house machining, sandblasting & painting if required.

Specializing In Repair & Refurbishment of: *Any Valve Communications Receivers servicing, modifications, performance testing and alignments.... *Most Vintage Car Radios to 1970 including all valve vibrator sets, the older the better! .... *All Early Germanium Transistor radios. early micro radios, vintage hearing aids and novelty radios.... *Some Domestic Broadcast sets, pretty choosey about these now, so high end, or foreign sets only.... *Bakelite Repairs & Authentic Black Wrinkle paint refinishes or touchups....

How?: There are many levels available from 'just get it going' to 'restore it to its former glory please'. As a perfectionist and collector I enjoy work most where originality is to be maintained. Benefits are very large stocks of new and used period OEM parts and original service manuals.
