JRC NRD-1002, Not much info in the net on this one, but a JRC or NRD collectors delight Im sure. 24 crystal spot freqs (currently populated) or VFO operation. Voltage selectable 100-117V,

Just checked, working well apart from two bands, likely the range switched needs cleaned, cool fluorescent green dial/band back light, top cover is alloy too but appears home brew, bottom plate is missing screws, no power cord, (perhaps fit an IEC?). Cosmetic condition is less than average, some paint loss but mostly just dirty and looks like it might clean up o.k

BC-348 as per normal has had power supply fitted at some stage along with most caps by the looks, and by someone with a body shop iron cos some components have not escaped their clumsy workmanship!.

Fired it up via variac, working o.k. to an extent, receives on all bands with varied sensitivities and osc accuracy, so could do with alignment after the very hummy caps are changed at the very least. Because of the hum I didnt leave it on any longer than to determine tranny is okay, lighting and ballast neon ok, doesn't appear to work if AGC is off, works been done on crystal filter side of things,. Still very tidy, original finish and easily fixed up. Comes with a shitload of docs about an inch thick incl a3 foldout schematics.

Main pointer needle has detached and is lying at bottom of window. Complete with manual and service copy, should be a great project. screws missing.

NATIONAL HRO-M Classic Comms gear, original HRO or HRO-M?, in good order, but not operating fully (see below). Chassis is in great shape, cabinet may have had a respray on top lid but overall looks pretty unmolested bar one or two replaced modern resistors.

Coil packs suffer from more cosmetic wear and tear but appear all there, 50-100k has one cracked former, scavenge it from the spare. The good news is there is 10 of them, the full avail range, include the rare VLF packs down to 50k.

Each valve tested on avo 163. All except the 42 test as new and look brand new too. I applied 6.3vac and 250Vdc and fired it up, the i.f's are clearly working, can't say the rf stage or mixer osc are working tho, but plenty of noise and heterodyne whistles, s-meter works, gain volume, cw & phasing etc appear to work. Might just need fingers on RF coil pack cleaned or aligned

Here's a fully optioned classic Yaesu F-line station that was bought by me from a deceased ham estate ten years ago. Everything else I bought at that time worked so expect this gear is no exception. I have passively checked everything, receiver works well, tx or amp not tuned up into a load. The transverter and VFO were not checked. Seems okay but strictly sold as-is. FLDX400 supplied with 4 new 6JS6's, FL-2000 linear amp with 4 new 6KD6's + 2 used. FRDX400 fully optioned with all filters and the 6m and 10 meter boards, FTV650 6m transverter, FV400S VFO, UD844 mic and matching speaker. They are in v.good overall condition and obviously from careful smokefree operator, even the speaker grill hasnt faded to the commonly seen brown. hues, good sign $1000

This belonged to Arthur Cushen, the DX Legend from 212 Earn St Invercargill. It is the same receiver that you see in his book 'The World In My ears", a first edition autographed copy is included btw. Comes with orig operating and service manual, in manilla folder c/w braille down side, faint serial number on pink note on folder matches receivers. I am also sure because I have owned other receivers of Arthur's bought in the same venture.
This double conversion four band .54-1.6, 1.75-34 mhz communications receiver is in nice condition, some paint loss above calibrator switch and here and there, oh yeah bottom cover has been repainted. The off function has been moved to the volume control, I guess to simplify controls for poor sight otherwise its original.

This a.c/d.c portable was Hallicrafters answer to the Zenith Trans Oceanic which had same 5 valve line-up, this looks great in its green 'alligator skin' and gold finish. This this is the 220V export version. Itis working but only just, it needed 250-260V via a variac to overcome low B+ and that will be certainly due to the old selenium rectifier and leaky filter caps, do those and it'll go like a bomb. 0.17-0.4 and 0.54-18 MHz in 4 bands, Google for more info. Incidentally when looking for specs/manuals it is the exactly same as the TW-600 and the S-93 which differ only in colour

Denco CT4, poss UK kitset, turret RF tuning. What you see is it what you get, fired up gently today, loads of hum, some signs of life then severely motorboats.

No further tests done, renew the HT caps, clean all the turret connectors and recheck. The missing b9a valve is likely an 0A2 regulator, ignore it. Pretty neat old set that should be fun to resurrect

Hallicrafters SR150 10-80M 125W CW, 150 SSB. pair of 12DQ6 pair finals. From the mid sixties, original, tidy condition but not working. Im sure it was down the track but now appears to be a short somewhere, hopefully simple but I have neither the space nor energy.
Too collectable to junk out so heres a project for you. Well made hefty solid state homebrew power supply (with internal speaker) worth twice the start bid alone. good luck.

Marconi CSR5A first built in 1942, this general coverage receiver was capable of receiving CW or AM signals in the 80 khz to 30 Mhz bands. It was a thirteen tube receiver weighing in at 68 pounds without power supply. The most notable feature, is the four position IF band pass filter to reduce interference.

No power supply, they look complete, bottom one has been re-sprayed and re-lettered at sometime so that will be the donor if needed. Untested, plenty of info on the net. good luck

Partial Heathkit station consisting of SB-300 SSB receiver, matching SB-600 speaker, SB-610 monitor scope and HM-15 reflected power meter. The latter hasn't been tested but is presumed working. The rest are all go but for the S meter. Yes, these are 230V versions and the use of a couple compactron valves keeps the count down. Has the AM and SSB filters, the optional 400hz CW filter is not installed. Condition pretty nice, some paint loss etc and receiver wrinkle finish paint needs a damn good scrubbing. SB-300 comes with orig assy and op manual, spec brochure plus huge A1? (8xA4) schematic. $125

No longer used and need more space so letting go this working vintage lineup, FL-200B and FR-100B. Both in great cosmetic condition. Decommissioned about 8 years ago when I bought them and working perfectly then. I checked the receiver this week and its still good apart from the odd scratchy pot that needs cleaning due to misuse. Powered up tx and checked passively as have no antenna or dummy. Looks like a few vital caps have been replaced in it s past somewhere and theres no reason it wont tune up nicely for you. No mic supplied and speaker is not period so is a freebie.

Murphy B40 (Murphy Radio of Welwyn Garden City, U.K) built for naval use to replace the classic  Marconi CR100's series. Single-conversion superhet receiver with two RF stages and three IF stages with IF pass bands of 8 kc/s (wide) and 3 kc/s (narrow) It is truly a 'boatanchor' as it weighs in at over 50kg (110lb)! It was literally built like a battleship for battleships and integrates the radar interference suppression (RIS) technology of the day.

Continuously tuneable from 600 odd KHz to 30MHz across 5 switched bands, 500 kHz IF and a crystal filter. Customers included the following navies, HMS, Royal Australian & Royal New Zealand.  Clean front panel, appears unmolested apart from power cord change, some rust on cabinet. Lights up, no further tests done but I understand first r.f stage is faulty and I have no inclination to heft this mammoth up onto the bench only a few months after elbow surgery so out it goes. Sold as-is. Pickup only on this one sorry.

Sprague Interference Locator, qty two! - one going very well, second one is complete with a full set of tubes for spares or power supply inverter repair, which are infact pretty hot performers 550k to 220Mhz in 6 continuous bands. These are ex nz radio freq service and have been refitted by them with discreet inverters for field work. One receiver works well (tested today), the other I think doesn't (not tested today), its missing a valve, else looks complete as the first.

Has excellent original instruction/service manual with 30 odd pages on operation, theory, alignment and schematics etc. Could be a nice project to build a proper HT power supply circuit for one.
